Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about eligibility, timing, sponsorship, or registration? Start here, or contact SLI Support for personalized assistance.

RLF is built for professionals who've moved past the fundamentals — whether through IT Management & Leadership Professional (ITMLP), IT Management & Leadership Studies (ITMLS), or equivalent experience — and are ready for a sustained, cohort-based program that develops real leadership presence, not just skills.

Each forum runs 7–8 months, with six in-person sessions held roughly every 4–8 weeks. Between sessions, there's independent reading and reflection, but the core commitment is engaged participation in each session.

Company sponsorship is not required. While most participants attend through company or organizational sponsorship, RLF also offers reduced individual pricing for people paying their own way — including special pricing for non-profit/government/education and U.S. military veterans.

"Rising" step on SLI's leadership path — for people stepping into bigger influence and responsibility. ELF is the "Mastery" step, designed for senior/executive-level leaders. Many RLF graduates go on to ELF later in their careers; see Progress to Exec Program under RLF Alumni.

[Describe actual application/selection process here — e.g., open registration vs. nomination-based, whether a company sponsor needs to approve, any prerequisites.]

RLF currently runs six regional forums, including a new forum in Texas for 2027.
