SIM INTEREST GROUP

Members in Transition (MIT)

Whether you're actively searching or just beginning to explore what's next, MIT is here to help. This group was built to support SIM members through career transitions — offering a trusted forum to share leads, opportunities, advice, and connection with peers who've been there.

Mission

To support SIM members navigating career transitions by providing a collaborative forum for sharing leads, opportunities, and peer guidance.

Vision

A community where no SIM member navigates a career transition alone, and where those who have found their next role pay it forward to support others still searching.

Benefits

Members gain access to weekly regional calls featuring career guidance from former MIT members and executive search professionals, along with job leads, referrals, and actionable advice. They can also connect with the SIM Career Center and a network of executive search professionals while participating in a supportive peer community open to all SIM members, whether they are in transition or lending a hand.

Objectives

The group is designed to support members in active career transition through structured weekly programming and to connect members with executive search professionals, recruiters, and peer networks. It also helps members develop executive leadership skills and career positioning through roundtable discussion and expert guidance, while encouraging the broader SIM community to support those in transition and strengthen a culture of mutual support.
