The Enterprise Architecture (EA) SIG is a community of practice dedicated to understanding and advancing EA leadership. We help Enterprise Architecture professionals connect, grow, and share — through best practices, tools, methodologies, and a network of peers who are passionate about the discipline.

To increase knowledge and practical application of emerging technologies through the practice of Enterprise Architecture.

A thriving community where Enterprise Architecture professionals at every level connect, contribute, and elevate the practice of Enterprise Architecture across SIM and beyond.

Benefits

Members can exchange knowledge and experiences with other Enterprise Architecture professionals while building relationships with leaders in the EA field. They also gain early access to SIM EA SIG research, publications, and the annual SIM IT Trends Survey, along with opportunities to participate in writing, presenting, seminars, workshops, and peer review sessions.

Objectives

The EA SIG aims to connect members with SIM chapters, national leaders, and Enterprise Architecture thought leaders through networking and presentations. It also encourages members to share technology reviews, book recommendations, methodologies, discussions, and application experiences, while advancing the profession through innovation ideation, collaborative knowledge-building, and a peer-driven community of practice that supports both personal and professional growth.
