The Philadelphia Area Chapter of The Society for Information Management is a "by-invitation" federation of senior information managers experienced in both information systems and general management. These professionals represent a range of organizations, both business and academic. Philadelphia Area SIM is a chartered chapter and is closely affiliated with SIM International.

The Chapter meets five times per year at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, 19 South 22nd Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Meetings are generally the second Tuesday of the month in February, April, June, October, and December.
