Jerry Mirelli, Board Member At-Large & Advisor

Jerry Mirelli is an Information Officer for AIG, the leading U.S.-based international insurance and financial services organization and the largest underwriter of commercial and industrial insurance in the United States. His responsibilities include call center and claims processing units; leveraging and managing offshore utilization; and establishing software development process standards and performance measurement guidelines.

As Managing Director at Axxom Consulting, he provided Project Management, Performance Measurement, SEI’s Capability Maturity Model, Process Improvement and Outsourcing services to leading financial industry companies including JP Morgan, NASD and SIAC. He was a Principal at Computer Sciences Corporation’s (CSC) Consulting Division’s national practice concentrating on Application Support management. Prior to consulting, he was the VP of Information Systems for The Metropolitan Museum of Art and CIO for CARE, the Int’l. Relief and Development agency. Jerry received his MBA from Baruch College. He taught graduate courses in Information Management at Steven’s Institute of Technology and undergraduate courses at Rider and Middlesex colleges. As a consultant, he was a  frequent speaker at industry events and has been published and quoted in a number of industry publications.
