Nomination, Admission, and Membership Criteria

I.S. Executives: Membership as an I.S. Executive is generally limited to the most senior I.S. executive of the organization, or his/her nominee, consistent with the top systems management intent. An organization is meant to include subsidiaries, divisions or other business units. The nominee must have responsibility for the business unit's strategic vision, technology direction, and I.S. budget.

I.S. Educators: Membership as in I.S. educator is generally limited to the dean, chairman, or head of a research program at a four-year graduate institution who manages a program that is graduating a significant number of students specifically prepared for positions in the management of I.S.

I.S. Consultants: Membership as an I.S. consultant is generally limited to the senior executive in charge of the I.S. consulting practice of the firm.

Non-I.S. Executive: Membership as a Non-I.S. executive is generally limited to senior executives in major private and public organizations whose primary responsibility is not information management but who foster a key role for the use of information technology in their own organizations.

Other Leaders: Membership as an Other Leader is generally limited to leaders in shaping and influencing law and government policy in areas of professional concern to information managers.

Membership renewal is not automatic. If a job status change occurs in the duration of a current year, renewal is subject to review by the Executive Committee.

How To Apply
